U.S. Census, the new Progressive Playground.

It would seem over the last year people all over the world have become increasingly suspicious over initiatives launched from the Obama White house. This mistrust, whether warranted or not, stems from concern that these policies presented are rooted in Progressive Socialism. President Obama and his administration repeatedly denied any such nefarious intentions, but with the indoctrinating nature and exploding cost of how the 2010 Census is to be conducted, the public once again has cause for suspicion.

The 2010 Census is decennial census mandated by the Constitution, for the purpose of allocating Federal funds. So should the census be conducted? Yes. In fact it is a responsibility of the Federal government to do so. So where is the problem?
The problem is in the "how" they plan to conduct it, not if they should conduct it.

Lets look at the bottom line costs of the 2010 Census. It is estimated to cost $15 Billion dollars. That is $15 000 000 000, triple the cost of the 2000 Census. Once again it appears that this initiative is anchored with wasteful indulgences, shameful self promotions, and secondary objectives.

So lets get ready for the 2010 Census show. First let stop at the Superbowl, where you the tax payer have paid for a $2.5 Million thirty second add for census awareness star Ed Begley, Jr. That is on top of the $340 Million promotional fund allocated by the White house. Can you believe they haven't even sent the forms out yet?

Keep your eyes open for a fully mobilized army of traveling buses and cargo vans designed to make you even more aware of the upcoming census.

If you are are worried about the increased CO2 emissions for these party buses, the White house has addressed that problem as well. They have contracted Al Gore's firm "Carbonfund.org' to offset the increased carbon footprint left behind. What wasteful government spending program would be complete without paying Al Gore's mortgages?

Now you would think after all this, and all this is just the tip of the ice berg, everyone would be aware and know how to follow through with the census, the White house has one more great idea just to be sure. They have proposed conscripting 56 million school children to annoy their parents for the collective good. Once again they have found away to use tax payer dollars to secure future votes for the Democratic party though another indoctrinating school program. Don't expect this to be the last one either.

After all the speeches about fiscal prudence from President Obama, we can't help thinking that it was more government lip service, because there is no indication of Washington spending be controlled. It is time for you to tighten your belts so the White house doesn't have to.
